About

Not enough heat, light, and energy from the sun would make life on earth impossible. But so too will too much heat, light, and energy. We’re now pushing the boundaries of the sweet spot…

I have had the opportunity to travel to over 15 countries in the last few years. In my travels around the world I’ve seen the affects of climate change first hand. As an outdoor enthusiast, it is hard to imagine what some of the world’s most beautiful landscapes will look like in the next 50 years.

Within my lifetime we will experience a tremendous loss of wildlife and degradation of ecosystems. I should say, more accurately, a continued loss of what is now left.

I do believe humankind will find ways to survive the climate changes that are being brought about by global warming. Many coastal cities have already taken steps to mitigate new natural threats like raising sea levels and increased intensity of storms.

In my free time, I explore the various ways humans are adapting to our new and unpredictable climate. I’ve launched this blog to keep notes on what I find and hopefully create a resource for other’s who, like me, are interested in humankind’s biggest challenge: finding a way to live in a warmer world.
